Just as our famous Afternoon Tea is served on several levels, The Atrium Lounge rises over five floors to the glass canopy of the ceiling. Natural daylight spills down on the scene, as the gentle notes of our piano tumble into the air and champagne bubbles rush into your glass.

A Dublin institution, Afternoon Tea is the signature experience of The Atrium Lounge, making it the venue of choice for the elegant set, perfect for an afternoon tea hen party, sharing a treat with friends, or unwinding between business meetings. Sip your subtly Bergamot-scented Earl Grey, or raise a glass of champagne, as you consider which delicacy to go for next: a magnificent macaron, a dainty sandwich, or a traditional scone with clotted cream and jam.

Celebrate Bloomsday at The College Green Hotel Dublin

This June, The College Green Hotel Dublin invites guests to experience Bloomsday through a special edition of its Literary Afternoon Tea, served in the elegant surroundings of The Atrium Lounge from 1–30 June.

Inspired by James Joyce and Ulysses, the limited-edition dessert features dark chocolate and orange flower ganache with hibiscus and raspberry capturing the richness, colour, and spirit of Dublin during Bloomsday.

On 16 June, guests can also enjoy a live recital from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm in collaboration with James Joyce Centre and the Bloomsday Festival, bringing Joyce’s words to life in an intimate setting.
The experience is complimented by the bespoke “Atrium Bloom” cocktail and Ronnefeldt Peach Blossom tea, creating a refined and expressive literary pairing.

Set beneath the soaring glass ceiling of The Atrium Lounge, the Literary Afternoon Tea offers a serene escape just moments from the streets that inspired Joyce’s iconic work.
